Strength & Conditioning
This class uses a combination of strength and endurance exercises with strength training equipment in a nonstop format that creates a challenging workout. This is a great class for those looking to increase their strength while conditioning themselves to lengthen exercise times.

5 years ago I ran my first half marathon. I thought there would be more to come, but then I had 3 children over the course of the next 4 years. With each child I gained more weight, on top of what I had not lost from the previous pregnancy. After my third child, I was carrying a total of 90 extra pounds. I was depressed and did not participate in the fun, active hobbies (running, mountain biking, swimming, etc.) that I did prior to having children. I tried many times during the course of the last five years to lose weight after each pregnancy and would have small successes of 10 pounds here and there, but would then gain it back within a couple of month plus more!
When I joined for the annual women's biggest weight loss challenge I immediately had hope that this time I would be able to do it. I met with a Wellness Director for free at the beginning and towards the end and attended team training (group personal training) several times a week. They gave me all the tools that I needed to keep me motivated and succeed, as well as the positive environment that the gym offered.
Participating in the challenge wasn’t about competing against other women; it was about having a group of women to talk to about your ups and downs and cheer you on. Win or lose- in the end if you lost any weight or changed your exercise and eating habits for the better- than it was a win. I lost 32.4 pounds in 12 weeks and 17.23% of my weight. I am proud to say I feel comfortable in my own skin again.

Results Fitness for Women Rocks! I came to Results Fitness 30 lbs overweight and my doctor told me I needed to take cholesterol medication. I was eating out frequently, not exercising, and I had low self-esteem. I knew I needed motivation and accountability to help met my goals. Danielle, Neadria, Kodi, and Team Training helped get me on the right path and stay on it. In the first month Needria helped me lose 10lbs. I was going to Team Training twice a week and Personal training twice a week.
I joined The Weight Loss Challenge because it was another tool Results Fitness provided to help me reach my goals. I was able to lose another 16 lbs over the 3 months. I love working with Kodi because she pushes me to do more and she doesn't let me slack off. The staff has been so encouraging and uplifting to me through the journey!

I joined RESULTS Fitness for Women in January 2013. Never having heard of this gym before, I received a flyer in the mail that intrigued me to stop by. I knew after graduating college and taking an office job that I had put on some weight and that it was time to get it off! A few months after I joined the gym, and after already seeing some results, I heard of the Biggest Loser Challenge. Having been a power lifter for 6 years while in high school and some of college I was excited to once again have some friendly competition.
The classes at the gym make it convenient to fit into a busy schedule. Not only are the classes challenging, the teachers are awesome too!! Kathy is always there to encourage me and get onto me when I start to slack off. Her Athletic Training class still wears me out every week and I've been taking it for 6 months now. I've realized through this that there are other fun ways to lose weight besides running on a treadmill and lifting weights, although those are important too! Now every week I get to do Zumba (I may look crazy but I'm burning calories nonetheless), Turbo-kick, Spinning (sometimes), Yoga and pretty much any other class the gym offers.
While in the competition I lost 37lbs and plan to lost around 15 more. Although it's not as easy as it was when I was younger, I've realized that it can still be done and it is not too late to be in the best shape of my life, which is my new goal. I now know and accept that working is going to have to be a part of my life and I'm excited about it. I am truly grateful for the friendly staff that are always there to help out, answer questions, or to calm me down when I was having a meltdown because the scale wasn't moving fast enough. It is quite rare to find such qualities in any gym, which is another reason I'm thankful to have found RFW. This gym is a great place and I'm so happy I was fortunate enough to stumble upon it!

I’m someone that has been overweight pretty much my entire life. Needless to say, I was reluctant to join another gym and intimated to do personal training. I was content to be in the back row of a group exercise class and stay on the treadmill (because I didn’t know what else to do).
What makes Results Fitness leagues above other gyms are the motivating staff, personal attention, family like atmosphere, and genuinely happy members. I feel honored and privileged to be part of such a tight -knit community of ROCKIN women!!!
